Hammond CLCSP42BK 42/48 in Deep Solid Side Panel, Keyed Latches

CLCSP42BK is a single solid steel side panel for Hammond CLC Series multi-bay colocation server rack cabinets built on the 42 in and 48 in deep frames. It closes the open side of a CLC cabinet so colocation providers, managed hosting facilities and shared enterprise data centers can fully enclose customer or departmental equipment within one cabinet footprint.

The panel is formed from mild steel and finished in black textured powder coat to match the CLC cabinet. It measures 77.12 in (1959 mm) high by 37.75 in (959 mm), and ships as a single panel, so a fully enclosed stand-alone cabinet requires two. Four keyed 1/4-turn latches secure the panel to the frame and allow controlled removal for service access, while 10-32 x 1/2 bonding studs at the front and rear support cabinet bonding and grounding practices.

The CLC ordering data lists CLCSP42BK as the solid side panel for the 42 in deep CLC2B42BK, CLC3B42BK and CLC4B42BK cabinets and for the 48 in deep CLC2B48BK, CLC3B48BK and CLC4B48BK cabinets. The same panel can also be used as a barrier panel where equipment inside a cabinet run needs to be physically separated.

Side panels are part of a compliant configuration: the CLC Series meets PCI DSS when properly configured, including when multiple cabinets are connected, the open side is enclosed using the appropriate side panels, and cable manager security plates (CLCCMSP) and security covers (CLCCMSC) are installed. CLCSP42BK is TAA-compliant and manufactured in Canada, is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant, and falls under UL file E474597 with cULus and PCI listed among its standards.
