The CGK400 is the CGK Series grounding kit for 400 A splitter boxes and troughs. Alongside seven circuits for 2-14 CU-AL conductors, it adds one larger position that accepts 1/0-14 CU-AL, giving room to land a heavier grounding conductor with the branch grounds.
The lugs are made from high strength, high conductive aluminum alloy 6061-T6 and are rated at 90°C. They are designed for use with both aluminum and copper conductors, and the kit is CSA Certified.
Each kit comes supplied with all necessary mounting hardware for installation. The drawing (isometric, not to scale) shows call-outs of 4.57, 1.12, .56 and .53. Shipping weight is 1 lbs (0.45 kg), and the kit is packaged in a bag. All eight positions are rated CU-AL, so copper and aluminum conductors can be mixed across the small circuits and the 1/0-14 position as the installation requires.
The CGK400 is REACH and RoHS compliant, UPC 623980261614, UNSPSC 39121405. If the incoming grounding conductor is larger than 1/0, the CGK600 for 600 A splitter boxes and troughs offers a 300 MCM - 6 CU-AL position instead.
