Hammond CGK Junction/Pull Box Grounding Kit, 3 Circuits

The CGK is the grounding kit in the CGK Series intended for junction and pull boxes. It gives electricians a ready-made equipment grounding point with three circuits, each accepting 4-14 CU-AL conductors, so bonding conductors can be landed inside the box without sourcing separate lugs.

The lugs are made from high strength, high conductive aluminum alloy 6061-T6 and are rated at 90°C. They are designed for use with both aluminum and copper conductors, and the kit is CSA Certified.

Every kit is supplied with all necessary mounting hardware. The part drawing (isometric, not to scale) shows call-outs of 1.30, .44 and .31 across its front, side and top views. The kit ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 1 lbs (0.45 kg). Because the lug positions are rated CU-AL, the same kit can serve boxes wired with either copper or aluminum grounding conductors in the 4-14 range.

The CGK is REACH and RoHS compliant and carries UPC 623980261638 and UNSPSC 39121405. For splitter boxes and troughs, the series offers the CGK125, CGK225, CGK400 and CGK600 with higher circuit counts and ampere-matched applications; this kit is the version listed for junction/pull box use.
