Hammond CDF1978VBK1 45U Vented Front Door for C2 Cabinets, Black

The CDF1978VBK1 is a 45U vented door from the CDF Series, designed exclusively for use with Hammond C2 Series cabinets. It suits IT and AV integrators, data centre and facilities teams who need a factory-matched front or rear door that supports airflow through the cabinet while keeping equipment enclosed and lockable.

The door is constructed in 16-gauge mild steel and finished in textured RAL9005 black powder coat. The finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. It is manufactured in North America.

CDF1978VBK1 pairs with C2 cabinets rated at 45U with a 78.75 in (2000 mm) frame height. The door itself measures 78.50 in (1994 mm) high by 19.33 in (491 mm) wide, with a nominal listed size of 45U by 23 in wide, and a shipping weight of 32 lbs (14.51 kg).

Installation is straightforward: the door drops into C2 Series cabinets using the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door. Supplied hardware includes two 1/4 in x 4-1/2 in long hinge pins, a formed black plastic handle and a quarter-turn lock complete with a .531 in high cam (DWS220-9208), plus hinges to mount on the cabinet. Series accessories include a Door Adapter Kit, Cabinet Door Replacement Lock and Partial Height Door Support. The same door is offered in RAL 7035 light gray as CDF1978VLG1.
