The CBB70 is a full-length copper ground busbar from Hammond Manufacturing's CBB Series, sized for C2 Series cabinets built on the C2F1970 frame. It gives IT, data centre, AV and facilities teams a single, dedicated bonding point inside the cabinet so equipment grounding conductors, shelves, PDUs and panels can all be tied back to one common copper strip rather than to random frame points.
Construction is a solid copper strip measuring 0.13 in (3 mm) thick by 0.63 in (16 mm) wide, running the full 70.00 in (1778 mm) height of the busbar. That vertical run covers 40U of mounting height, so ground connections can be made close to the equipment being bonded anywhere up the cabinet. Shipping weight is 1 lbs (0.45 kg).
The CBB70 includes the hardware required for mounting on the rack frame side struts, so it installs vertically along the side of the cabinet frame without consuming usable front rack space.
