Hammond C4SP4231SBK1 24U Solid Side Panel Pair, 31.5 in Cabinet Depth

The C4SP4231SBK1 is a pair of solid steel side panels for the Hammond C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 24U C4 frames with a 31.50 in (800 mm) depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT, network and colocation builds where the cabinet interior needs to be closed off for security, appearance and airflow separation rather than side-to-side thermal induction.

Panels are fabricated from mild steel and finished in black textured powder coat. Within the C4 platform, doors and panels are 16-gauge steel, and the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Each panel carries a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so it can be tied into the cabinet's grounding and bonding provisions, which run throughout the frame, doors and panels.

Overall panel dimensions are 41.94 in (1065 mm) by 27.94 in (710 mm). Mounting is tool-light: each panel uses four slotted quarter-turn latches and a black plastic handle for removal, and 1/4 turn locks are available separately. C4SP4231SBK1 ships as a pair with a total shipping weight of 58 lbs (26.31 kg).

The C4 platform is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE standards) when assembled by Hammond. Note that individual components such as these side panels are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled into a complete cabinet to meet those certification requirements. The parts are TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, supporting government and public-sector procurement.
