Hammond C4PR2473SZPL 42U Square Hole Rack Rail Pair, 19-Inch Mount

The C4PR2473SZPL is a matched pair of 42U square-hole rack mount rails for Hammond C4, C4RR_S, C4RR_A and C4RR_D cabinet systems. It is intended for IT and data center teams, telecom installers, integrators and facilities staff who need to replace damaged rails, add mounting positions, or convert a cabinet from threaded to square-hole mounting. The rails provide a 19.00 in (483 mm) EIA-310 mounting width and are designed for C4 cabinets 24.00 in (610 mm) wide; this part is not listed as compatible with DCZ4 cabinets.

Construction is mild steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance and improved grounding continuity through the cabinet. Square-hole rails in the C4PR Series are manufactured from 12-gauge steel for a rigid mounting platform suited to servers, switches, storage equipment, UPS systems and other rack-mounted devices. The square holes accept 10-32, 12-24, 1/4-20 and M6 cage nuts, so a single rail set covers most modern rack hardware standards.

Mounting height is 73.00 in (1854 mm) with an overall drawing height of 73.53 in (1868 mm), giving 42 rack units of usable space. Silkscreened 1U markings run the length of each rail to speed equipment layout and future expansion. C4PR2473SZPL ships as a pair with the required strut mounting hardware, and each set weighs 15 lbs (6.80 kg).

The rails are manufactured in Canada, are USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and are RoHS and REACH compliant. A 10-32 threaded zinc-plated equivalent (C4PR2473TZPL) and RAL9005 black versions (H1SRR42U24BK square hole, H1TRR42U24BK threaded) cover the same 42U, 19 in configuration if a different hole pattern or colour is required.
