The C4F247736BK1 is a 44U open server cabinet frame from the C4 modular server rack cabinet system, intended for data centers, enterprise IT rooms, network infrastructure rooms and colocation or cloud deployments where the cabinet has to be configured rather than bought as a fixed assembly. It is supplied as a frame only, with no mounting rails, so integrators and OEM engineers can specify the rail type, doors, side panels and top panel that suit the installation.
Construction is welded 14-gauge steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets, finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. When built up by Hammond as a complete cabinet, the platform carries a UL2416 listed 3000 lb load rating (UL file E474597) and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load against IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards; individual components such as this frame are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own. The frame is TAA-compliant, manufactured in Canada, and is RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
Overall size is 83.5 in x 24 in x 36 in (2,121 mm x 610 mm x 914 mm), with overall height including the leveling feet, and it provides 77.00 in (1956 mm) of usable mounting height and 34.00 in (864 mm) of usable mounting depth. Shipping weight is 136 lbs (61.69 kg).
Four leveling feet with 5/16-18 threads are included, along with a caster pattern and lagging points for bolt-down, plus four 1/2-13 threads for optional eye-bolts. The top has four 3.50 in (89 mm) cable entry holes with plugs included, and 1/4-20 collar studs (four on top, two on bottom) accept interchangeable panels. Depth-adjustable C-channel struts accept 19 in rails: C4PR2477SZPL square-hole or C4PR2477TZPL tapped 10-32, ordered separately.
