Hammond C4D2473SBK1 42U Solid Surface Cabinet Door, 24-Inch Width

The C4D2473SBK1 is a 42U solid surface door built exclusively for use with the C4 Cabinet Series in the 24.00 in (610 mm) width. It is the solid-panel variant of the Surface Door with Locking Swinghandle group, making it the choice for network, AV and control installations where equipment needs to be concealed behind a closed steel panel rather than vented or glazed.

Construction is 16-gauge steel in mild steel, finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Per the drawing, the door measures 23.00 in (584 mm) wide by 78.56 in (1996 mm) high with a 0.84 in (21 mm) depth, and it ships with three left-hand surface door hinges, an FH333 swing handle key lock, an offset cam and three stick-on rubber bumper feet.

Installation follows the C4 door method: the door easily installs into C4 Series cabinets using the integrated spring pin at the top and bottom of the door, with the supplied hinges mounted on the cabinet. As supplied, C4D2473SBK1 is hinged on the left and swings from right to left; the drawing notes that a DC100HINGE kit is required for right-hand hinge orientation, and the series also lists C4RHINGE for right-hand hinging.

The door is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and manufactured in North America. Note that for most server applications the series recommends perforated doors on both the front and back of the cabinet instead of a solid panel.
