Hammond C4D2442VBK1 24U Vented Surface Cabinet Door, 79% Perforated

The C4D2442VBK1 is a vented surface door sized for 24U, 24.00 in (610 mm) wide C4 Series cabinets. It is intended for IT, AV and facilities teams that need airflow through the front or rear of an enclosed cabinet while keeping equipment secured behind a locking door. The perforated panel is 79% open, so it suits active equipment loads where passive or fan-assisted ventilation is required.

Construction is 16-gauge steel finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, and the finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The door is supplied as a complete assembly: the C4 surface vented door (2442) panel, three left-hand surface door hinges, an FH333 swing handle key lock, an offset cam and three stick-on rubber bumper feet.

Overall door dimensions per the drawing are 40.44 in (1027 mm) high by 23.00 in (584 mm) wide, with a 47.06 in (1195 mm) dimension shown on the right-side view, a 15.00 in (381 mm) reference and a 0.84 in (21 mm) depth detail. Shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg).

As supplied, C4D2442VBK1 is hinged on the left and swings from right to left. For a right-hand hinge configuration the drawing notes that a DC100HINGE kit is required; the series also lists C4RHINGE for right-hand hinging.
