Hammond C4B2436SBK1 Solid Bottom Panel for 24 x 36 in Cabinets

The C4B2436SBK1 is a solid steel bottom panel designed specifically for C4 cabinet frames measuring 24.00 in (610 mm) wide by 36.00 in (914 mm) deep. It closes off the base of the cabinet so that airflow can be managed and directed rather than escaping through an open bottom, making it a practical add-on for data centre, network and AV cabinet builds where thermal separation matters.

Construction is 14 gauge mild steel, finished in a painted black textured powder paint coat. The panel measures 31.00 in (787 mm) by 19.00 in (483 mm) overall with a material thickness of 0.07 in (2 mm), and carries six 0.22 in (6 mm) diameter mounting holes for attachment to the cabinet frame. Shipping weight is 7 lbs (3.18 kg).

Cabinet mounting hardware is supplied in the box: six 8-32 clip nuts in a black oxide finish and six 8-32 x 0.5 in zinc-plated machine screws, both replaceable under kit number CLPKIT832-6. No separate hardware order is required to fit the panel to a compatible frame.

C4B2436SBK1 is compatible with the C4, C4RR and DCZ4 cabinet series. For installations that need a cable entry brush instead of a solid closure, the matching brushed version in this series is C4BBCE2436BK1.

The panel is manufactured in North America (country of origin CA), is USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and the paint finish complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality.
