Hammond C3RWT10116G 10x10x116 In Type 3R Galvanized Wiring Trough

The 116 in length is the longest in the 10 x 10 in size of the series, covering nearly ten feet of outdoor wiring in one piece. The C3RWT10116G is a 10 x 10 x 116 in Type 3R wiring trough in unpainted galvanized steel, designed to protect multiple wiring junctions in outdoor environments against the ingress of rain, sleet, snow and the external formation of ice. It suits electricians, electrical contractors and facilities teams who need to protect multiple wiring junctions in one enclosure in outdoor installations.

The trough is formed and spot welded from 14 or 16 gauge galvanized steel and left unpainted. A drip shield top design helps shed rain, snow and sleet away from the enclosure, and a slip-on removable front cover is secured with screws, so the wiring can be reached by removing the cover screws.

Nominal size is 10 in x 10 in x 116 in (254 mm x 254 mm x 2,946 mm). The manufacturer drawing shows an overall length of 116.88 in, an overall cross-section dimension of 10.44 in, a front opening of 114.75 in x 8.42 in and an inside dimension of 9.86 in. At 116 in long, it is one of the longer troughs in its 10 x 10 in size, and its back carries 6 mounting holes of Ø0.30 in, spaced 56.00 in + 56.00 in apart horizontally and 7.00 in vertically. Shipping weight is 105 lbs (47.63 kg), packed in a box.

The trough is listed to UL870 Type 3R and CSA Type 3R, complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP24, and is covered under UL File E186830 and CSA certificate LL21312. It is also marked REACH and RoHS compliant. Note that effective August 17, 2026 the grounding strap and padlocking hasp that were previously included are no longer provided with each trough, so plan for those separately if your installation calls for them.
