Hammond C3R363610HCR 36x36x10 in Type 3R Continuous Hinge Wall Enclosure

The C3R363610HCR is a Type 3R painted galvanized steel wallmount enclosure from the C3R HCRMD Series, measuring 36 in x 36 in x 10 in (914 mm x 914 mm x 254 mm). It is designed for use as a wiring/junction box and provides protection against rain, sleet, snow and dripping water, making it a fit for electricians, contractors and facilities teams housing wiring on exterior walls.

The series is formed and spot welded from 16 or 14 gauge galvanized steel with a drip shield top and seam-free sides, front and back. The door swings on a stainless steel continuous hinge and is fastened with captive plated screws, and a padlocking hasp is provided. Enclosure and cover are finished inside and out in ANSI 61 gray powder coating, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

With a 36 x 36 in square face and a comparatively shallow 10 in depth, it provides a large panel area for wall-mounted wiring while projecting less from the wall than the 12 in deep 36 x 36 in model. Per the drawing, the door opening is 33.71 x 34.93 in (W x H) and the door itself is 35.75 x 35.69 in, with an overall envelope of 36.13 in wide, 37.88 in high and 10.63 in deep. Collar studs accept optional inner panel 18P3333 (33 x 33 in), and external mounting feet handle wall installation.

This size is certified to UL-50 Type 3R (UL File E65324) and CSA Type 3R (CSA LL21312), complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529 IP24, and is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships in a box at 112 lbs (50.80 kg).
