Hammond C3R10106ESCNKAL 10x10x6 Type 3R Aluminum Screw Cover Junction Box

The C3R10106ESCNKAL is a NEMA Type 3R aluminum junction box with a screw cover and no knockouts, measuring 10 in x 10 in x 6 in (254 mm x 254 mm x 152 mm) H x W x D. It is designed for use as a wiring/junction box and provides protection against rain, sleet, snow and dripping water, making it suited to electricians and contractors who want a lightweight, unpainted aluminum box for outdoor splices and terminations.

The box is formed from 0.08" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum, with a drip-shield top and seam-free sides, front and back. A slip-on removable cover is fastened with plated steel screws, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and a grounding kit is provided. Enclosure and cover are finished in natural unfinished aluminum. Because the box has no knockouts, conduit entries can be placed where the job needs them.

External mounting feet handle installation. The part drawing shows an overall height of 11.50 in, a cover measuring 10.42 in square, a door opening of 8.75 x 8.75 in and 8.75 x 8.75 in of clear space available on the cover, with an overall depth of 6.47 in. The same 10 x 10 in face is also offered at 4 in deep as the C3R10104ESCNKAL, so choose the C3R10106ESCNKAL when extra depth for wiring and splices suits the installation.

The C3R10106ESCNKAL is listed to UL-50 Type 3R and cUL Type 3R to CSA Standard C22.2, No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 3R and IEC 60529, IP24. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a box at 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
