Hammond C2T2436SBK1 25 x 28.25 in Solid Cabinet Top Panel, Black

The C2T2436SBK1 is a solid steel top panel for rack cabinets, measuring 25.00 in (635 mm) wide by 28.25 in (718 mm) deep. It is intended for IT and network teams, data center operators, integrators and industrial users who need to close off the top of a cabinet so airflow follows a defined front-to-rear path rather than leaking through the cabinet roof.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance programs. Because the panel is solid rather than vented or slotted for cable entry, it also blocks dust, debris and airborne contaminants from entering the enclosure from above.

This size of the C2TS Series is designed for use with 30.00 in wide C4 cabinets at 42.00 in depth. Other cabinet series supported across the series include C2, C2RR, C4, C4RR_A, C4RR_S, C4RR_D, H1, RCK and CLC, with H1 cabinets requiring the H1TC Series for mounting. Mounting hardware is included in the box: six 8-32 clip nuts in black oxide finish and six 8-32 x 0.5 in zinc plated machine screws, both replaceable as CLPKIT832-6. Six 0.22 in (6 mm) diameter mounting holes are provided in the panel, and printed assembly instructions cover the straightforward screw-and-clip-nut installation.

C2T2436SBK1 ships at 8 lbs (3.63 kg), is manufactured in Canada and is TAA-compliant as well as USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, which helps with government and enterprise procurement requirements. If overhead cable entry, active fan cooling or passive top venting is needed instead, the C2T_BF, C2TF and C2TV Series cover those roles.
