Hammond C2F194223BK1 24U Cabinet Frame, 23.6 in Deep, Black Steel

The C2F194223BK1 is a 24U open cabinet frame from the C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, supplied as a frame only with no mounting rails. It is intended for integrators and engineers who want to build a cabinet from selected components — frame, rails, panels, doors and accessories — rather than buy a fixed configuration, and it suits AV, telecom, lab, test and general equipment installations.

Construction is a welded 14-gauge steel assembly finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat. Across the C2 Series, the cabinet frame uses 14-gauge steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels for a 1500 lb load capacity, with grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels for bonding. The textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This frame measures 23.00 in (584 mm) wide by 23.62 in (600 mm) deep, with an overall height listed as 49.31 in (1,253 mm) on the part data and 50.16 in (1274 mm) in the series ordering table. It provides 24U of rack space, with usable mounting height of 42.06 in (1068 mm) and usable mounting depth of 21.63 in (549 mm); the drawing shows 21.97 in (558 mm) usable depth and a 42.07 in (1069 mm) 24U dimension. Top opening is 19.06 in x 14.00 in and bottom opening is 17.00 in x 10.50 in for cable entry and panel fitment. Shipping weight is 85 lbs (38.56 kg).

Order 19-inch rack rail pairs separately: CCR42TZPL for tapped 10-32 or CPR42SZPL for square hole. C-channel struts allow infinite-depth rail adjustment. The frame includes threaded provisions for leveling feet (5/16-18) and optional casters (1/4-20), plus 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points.
