Hammond BWK6A7 7-Inch 6 AWG Bonding Wire Kit for Racks

The BWK6A7 is a rack and cabinet ground kit built around a single 7.00 in (178 mm) #6 AWG bonding wire, intended for IT, AV, electrical and facilities teams that need to bond rack frames, side panels, doors, rails and cable management components back to a common ground point. Its short length suits frame-to-frame and component-to-frame jumpers where bays are bonded together or a panel must be tied to the rack structure.

The cable is #6 AWG 266 strand copper of MTW/TEW UL1283 type, green-insulated with a yellow stripe for clear identification as a bonding conductor. Both ends are fitted with two-hole compression lugs; the bolt holes are 0.281 in (7.1 mm) in diameter and spaced 5/8 in (15.9 mm) apart, and the drawing identifies the terminals as 6 GA compression lugs for 1/4 in studs. Overall lug dimensions on the drawing are 41.45 mm (1.632 in) long with a 2.21 mm (0.087 in) thickness.
