Hammond BRS2P1924BK 3U 19in Battery Shelf, 24in Deep, 550 lb

The BRS2P1924BK is a heavy-duty 3U battery shelf built for 19 in mounting in 2-post rack systems. Rated for a maximum weight load capacity of 550 lb (250 kg), it is intended for IT, telecom and industrial teams that need to mount batteries, UPS units, DC power plants and heavy chassis equipment where standard rack shelves fall short.

Construction is 12-gauge mild steel with front and rear lips that are folded and welded for added strength and liquid containment, improving safety and durability. The shelf is finished in a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting both environmental and durability requirements.

This version measures 5.25 in x 19 in x 24 in (133 mm x 483 mm x 610 mm) and occupies 3U of rack height, with a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width and a 24.00 in (610 mm) depth for deeper battery strings and power equipment. Shipping weight is 26 lbs (11.79 kg). The drawing shows 8X 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots and an 18.35 in (466 mm) 19 in mounting dimension.

BRS2P1924BK ships with the shelf, four mounting brackets, assembly instructions and mounting hardware for both 10-32 and 12-24 rails: eight 10-32 Keps nuts, sixteen 10-32 x 0.5 in assembly screws and eight 12-24 x 0.5 in screws. The BRS Series is specifically designed for heavy-duty 2-post racks, including the DNRR and DRZ4 series.
