The BDN4XS16 is a 316L stainless steel pressure compensation plug, listed as an N4X breather drain, in the BDN Series. It suits corrosion-sensitive installations where a sealed enclosure must equalise pressure as temperatures change, for example between night and day, while shedding moisture from inside.
Both the body and the fixing nut are 316L stainless steel, sealed with a nitrile O-ring. Ingress protection is IP66 and CSA Enclosure Type NEMA 4X, and the part holds CSA/A Ex approvals for Class I, Zone 1, Ex e II; Class I Division 2 Groups ABCD; and Class II EFG, Class III.
