Hammond APB19021BK1 12U Adjustable Depth Hinged Wall Rack, 100 lb

The APB19021BK1 is a 12U open wall rack from the APB Series, designed for telecom and IT installations where 19-inch equipment must be mounted on a wall rather than in a full cabinet. Its hinged design swings away from the wall so installers and technicians can reach behind mounted gear for termination, servicing and cable management. It suits IT and AV integrators, structured cabling contractors, electricians and facilities teams working in small closets and on telecom backboards.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel finished in RAL9005 black powder coat, a finish described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The bracket carries a 100 lb load rating, appropriate for patch panels, switches and other lightweight rack equipment. The self-squaring, knock-down design ships unassembled to simplify handling and installation.

This 12U size measures 20.98 in (533 mm) high by 19.39 in (493 mm) wide overall, with a mounting width of 19.00 in (483 mm). Depth adjusts from 12.00 in (305 mm) to 18.00 in (457 mm) using the pair of sliding rails, so equipment of varying depths can be accommodated without disassembly. Shipping weight is 30 lbs (13.61 kg).

One pair of EIA-310 compliant 19-inch mounting rails tapped 10-32 is supplied, along with a starter pack of (25) 10-32 x 0.75 in rack mounting screws (SCREW1032-25) and (10) 10-32 x 3/8 assembly screws. Wall mounting hardware is not included. Rear cable access with multiple tie points supports organized routing.
