Hammond AHKL3 Key Locking 3-Point Handle Kit for Doors Over 60

The Hammond AHKL3 is a NEMA 12 (Type 12) 3-point handle kit with a automotive-style key locking handle, designed for field installation on most 1418 Series single door enclosures (it does not fit the 1418 J Series). It is intended for panel builders, electricians and maintenance teams who need to add or replace a secure door handle on an existing 1418 enclosure in the field.

As a three point kit, AHKL3 includes a handle, latch cam, latch rods and adjustable rod guides. The latch rod ends have rollers for easier door closing, and the rods secure the door at three points rather than one. The handle is a key locking type, listed in the HK Series table under Locking Handle. It is the longer of the two 3-point versions, listed by the manufacturer for doors greater than 60".
