Hammond 835A 1:1 Interstage Audio Transformer, 10K/40K Ohm

The 835A is a broadcast-quality 800A Series interstage audio transformer with a 1:1 ratio. Primary and secondary are both a nominal 10K/40K ohms, so it couples one high-impedance stage to the next without changing level, providing isolation between stages in tube and discrete amplifier circuits.

The maximum primary D.C. unbalanced current is listed as 0. Frequency response is +/- 0.5 dB max. from 50 Hz to 15 kHz, insertion loss is approximately 1 dB, and the maximum power level is +15 dBm with the specified characteristics, or higher with reduced low frequency performance.

Humbucking construction helps reject stray magnetic fields, and balanced split windings on both primary and secondary give circuit versatility; the primary may be used as the secondary and vice versa for impedance matching.
