Hammond 2UHD847918N4SS 84x79x18 Two-Door 304 Stainless Disconnect Enclosure

The 2UHD847918N4SS is a two-door Type 4X stainless steel freestanding disconnect enclosure from the UHD SS series, built to house a flange-mounted disconnect switch or circuit breaker operator along with its control gear. It measures 84.13 x 79 x 18.13 in (2137 x 2007 x 461 mm) and includes a 72.00 x 72.00 in inner panel, for installations where Type 4X and IP66 protection is specified.

At 84.13 in tall and 79.00 in wide, its two doors open onto a 72.00 x 72.00 in inner panel. Per the drawing, each door opening is 35.82 x 73.91 in with 17.30 in of usable depth.

The body is formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural brushed finish. A flange trough collar around the door opening excludes liquids and contaminants, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and heavy duty lifting eyes are anchored into reinforced top corners. The formed 10 gauge steel inner panel is white powder coated and sits on collar studs with panel supports; the center post is removable for easy panel installation.

Doors hang on heavy duty lift off hinges and close with a three point latch with heavy duty roller ends. The right-hand door is the main door, with a screw defeater and padlock hasp; the secondary door handle has a padlock hasp, and a main-door interlock prevents the auxiliary door from being opened first. The pre-installed flange cutout, with interlock hardware included, accepts ABB, Allen Bradley 1494V/1494U, Cutler Hammer C361/C371, GE STDA, Siemens I-T-E Max-Flex and Square D Class 9422 flange mechanisms (verify compatibility in advance). Disconnects and operators are ordered separately.

The series is listed to UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4 and 4X (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 12, 13, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP66; appropriate components are required to maintain these ratings.
