Hammond 2UHD847918FTC 2-Door 84.13 x 79 Disconnect Enclosure, 18.13 Deep

The 2UHD847918FTC is a two-door, freestanding disconnect enclosure from the UHD Series, rated UL 508A and CSA Type 12 and Type 4 and complying with IEC 60529 IP66. It suits control panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers who need a large multi-door cabinet with the disconnect operator mounted through a universal multi-vendor flange cutout.

Overall size is 84.13 in x 79 in x 18.13 in (2,137 mm x 2,007 mm x 461 mm), and it ships with a 72.00 in high by 72.00 in wide inner panel, formed from 10 gauge steel, mounted on collar studs with panel supports and finished in white powder coating. Each door opening is 35.85 in wide per the drawing. At 18.13 in deep, the drawing shows 17.41 in of usable depth behind the door. The body is 10 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating.

The right-hand door is the main door; its handle includes a screw defeater and padlock hasp, while the secondary door handle has a padlock hasp. A mechanical interlock activated by the main door prevents the auxiliary door from being opened first. The 2 doors ride on heavy duty lift-off hinges, close with a three point latching mechanism with roller ends, and the enclosure has a removable center post for easier panel installation.

Heavy duty lifting eyes are anchored into reinforced top corners for handling this 1100 lbs unit, which ships on a skid. A bonding stud in each door, a grounding stud in the enclosure for each door, a provision for fluorescent lighting and an inside-door literature pocket are included. Operators are fitted using the appropriate operator adaptor kit; disconnect switches, circuit breakers and operators are not supplied and are ordered separately from their manufacturer.
