The Hammond 2UDCP604912FFTC is a Type 12 mild steel two-door floormount disconnect enclosure with a center post flange and multi-vendor cutout, supplied with an inner panel. It is aimed at panel shops, OEM machine builders and plant electrical teams who need a floor-standing housing for flange mounted disconnect switches and circuit breakers. This is the smallest model in the 2UD CP F series, at 60.13 in tall and 48.88 in wide.
The enclosure measures 60.13 in H x 48.88 in W x 12.13 in D (1527 x 1242 x 308 mm) and stands on 15 in floor stands welded to the enclosure. Its formed 10 gauge steel inner panel is 56.00 x 44.00 in (1422 x 1118 mm), finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs with panel supports. The drawing shows 11.38 in of usable depth and a 21.91 in opening at each door. Shipping weight is 542 lbs (245.85 kg) on a skid.
Construction is 10 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, phosphatized and finished in recoatable smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating. A flange trough collar (FTC) around the door opening excludes liquids and contaminants, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and heavy duty lifting eyes sit in reinforced top corners. The center post is removable for easy panel installation.
On this series the left door is the master door, with a screw defeater and padlock hasp, and a mechanical interlock prevents the auxiliary door from being opened first. The universal flange cutout mounts ABB, Allen Bradley, C-H Westinghouse / Cutler Hammer, General Electric, Siemens and Square D operators with the appropriate operator adaptor kit. It is UL 508A and CSA Type 12 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with NEMA Type 12 and IEC 60529 IP54 when appropriate components are used.
