The 2CMC24 is a "C" channel mounting kit for 24 in (610 mm) wide Series 2000 console units. It is used in turrets, data terminals and bases to provide adjustable, side to side mounting support for base panels and all rail support kits, so panel builders can position internal equipment where it is needed rather than at fixed points.
The kit contains four channels (Qty 4), finished in textured black. Dimension A, the channel length from the ordering table, is 23.50 in (597 mm). The part drawing shows a channel profile 1.63 in wide by 0.88 in high, with 0.28 in diameter mounting holes.
Because the channels allow side to side adjustment, they make it easier to line up rail support kits and base panels inside the console unit during assembly or later changes. The series is available in 4 widths, and the 2CMC24 is the size for 24 in consoles; larger consoles use the 36 in, 48 in or 60 in kits of the same series.
