The 2CLDC4843 is a 48-inch Deep Desk Cover from the S2CDC Series, made in RAL 7035 light gray steel. It is intended for Series 2000 console desks that will not carry a turret: fitted over the flat top of the desk, it provides a hinged, flat, sturdy desk surface. Panel builders and integrators use it to close off a deep depth desk and give operators a usable work area.
The cover is constructed of 14 gauge steel finished in RAL 7035 light gray, and the drawing shows a gasket on the cover. Quarter turn latches allow easy access into the flat desk top.
Per the ordering table, dimension B3 is 47.75 in (1213 mm) and dimension C is 24.03 in (610 mm); the nominal size is 48 x 23.025 in. The drawing gives 45.68 x 19.25 in of clear space available on the cover and a side-view height of 1.27 in. Covers are offered for either Standard or Deep desks, and this one is the Deep version for a 48-inch desk.
The 2CLDC4843 is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships in a box with a shipping weight of 18 lbs (8.16 kg). For a stainless steel installation, the matching 48-inch Deep cover is 2CSDC4843.
