The 2CLD24X is a 6" deep Data Terminal Extension Ring from the S2CER series for the Series 2000 modular console system. It adds 6" to Data Terminal depth, giving integrators and control engineers extra room behind the screen and keyboard for larger PCs, PLCs or wiring without changing enclosures.
The ring is formed 14 gauge steel with an ANSI 61 Gray (smooth) finish; the part description lists it as Steel/Lt Gray. It fastens flush to the back of the Data Terminal and utilizes the door from the Data Terminal, so the existing rear door moves to the back of the ring. The series maintains the NEMA rating of the terminal.
The 2CLD24X measures 24 in x 28 in x 6 in (610 mm x 711 mm x 152 mm) H x W x D. The part drawing shows 24.00 in and 28.50 in outer dimensions with openings of 21.42 in and 25.92 in, a 6.00 in depth (6.63 in on the side view), 17.50 in and 22.00 in back-view dimensions and 0.25 in diameter holes.
