The 2CCSTL is a set of two locking casters for Series 2000 modular consoles. Mounted directly to a console plinth, they let a console be rolled into position, and because they lock, the console can then be held in place. They are intended for anyone assembling a mobile operator console from Series 2000 components.
Each caster has a zinc plated ball bearing pivot and a grey composite wheel of 3.50 in (89 mm) diameter. The casters mount directly to plinths, and heavy duty brackets are included for outside mounting to the cabinet frame, along with the mounting hardware. The hole mounting pattern is 1.75 in (44 mm) wide by 3.00 in (76 mm) deep, and fitting the casters adds 4.97 in (126 mm) to the overall height of the cabinet.
Casters are sold in pairs so locking and non-locking units can be mixed on one console; pair the 2CCSTL with the non-locking 2CCSTN if you want some wheels free-rolling. The manufacturer recommends 4 casters for 24 in and 36 in consoles and 6 casters for 48 in and 60 in consoles. Note that casters will not work when frames are ganged together, so plan mobile consoles as individual units.
