The 2CBRK is a set of two 13U combination rails for the base unit of the Hammond Series 2000 modular console system. The rails add EIA rack mounting inside a console base, so integrators and panel builders can install standard rack-mount equipment inside the base.
Each rail features punched universal EIA spacing and is finished in black. The part drawing shows a rail length of 22.75 in, a 1.25 in rail face and 39 punched holes of 0.28 in diameter along each rail, consistent with the 13 rack units listed in the ordering table. Because the holes are punched rather than tapped, clip nuts are required for mounting equipment to the rails.
The rails mount onto Rail Support Kits, which are not included and must be ordered separately. This keeps the rail position flexible within the base, depending on the support kit used.
