The 290UEX is the 240V @ 50/60 Hz version of a 290 Series tube guitar amplifier power transformer, listed as a replacement for the Fender BLUES DELUXE. The series ordering table also lists it for the BLUES DELUXE (REISSUE), the HOT ROD DELUXE (chassis 021-3202-000) and the 63 VIBROVERB REISSUE, all for reference only. It is a fit for technicians servicing these amps on 240V mains.
Windings are 308.5V @ 250 mA (Secondary 1), a 39V bias winding and 6.6V @ 3.75A. In the Hot Rod Deluxe and 63 Vibroverb Reissue rows the bias winding appears as 39V @ 250 mA (Secondary 3) and the 6.6V @ 3.75A winding as Secondary 4. Every 290 Series transformer was designed for drop in replacement of the original unit, to look similar to the original factory part where possible, and with material and design specs kept close to the original to preserve the stock tone.
