Hammond 266M25 75VA 25V CT / 12.5V Parallel Power Transformer

The 266M25 is a 75VA open style power transformer for chassis mounting, rated 25V @ 3A with a center tap or 12.5V @ 6A with its secondaries in parallel. Like the rest of the 266 Series it has a dual 117/234 VAC primary, so one part covers both line voltages.

Its dimension A of 4.50 in (114 mm) is the largest A value listed in the 266 Series table, and it is a Mounting Style A unit.

Each unit has a dual 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz primary (wired in parallel for 117V, in series for 234V) and dual secondaries that can be used as a center tapped secondary, connected in parallel, or used individually. The 266M25 is designed for use with all windings engaged. Primary leads are Blk, Wht, Brn and Orn; secondary leads are Red, Blu, Gry and Yel, all at least 6" long.

It uses Mounting Style A with a 0.19 in (5 mm) mounting hole width. Listed dimensions are A 4.50 in (114 mm), B 2.50 in (64 mm), C 2.90 in (74 mm), D 4.00 in (102 mm). Unit weight is 3.25 lbs (1.47 kg), with a shipping weight of 3 lbs (1.36 kg).

Construction uses a dual bobbin design, so no electrostatic shield is required, and Class B insulation (130 °C), while the unit is UL listed as a Class A (105 °C) design. It is hi-pot tested at 2,000V RMS, UL listed (# E207860) Type 3AH, CSA certified (209651), and RoHS and REACH compliant.
