The 266F20 is a 6 VA open-style transformer rated 20 V at 0.3 A in series (center-tapped) or 10 V at 0.6 A in parallel. Its 20 V / 10 V outputs cover low-voltage AC requirements that fall between the common 12 V and 24 V ratings.
The primary accepts 117 or 234 VAC at 50/60 Hz; the 266 Series connection diagrams show the primaries wired in parallel for 117 VAC and in series for 234 VAC. The secondaries can be used as a center tapped secondary (20V @ 0.3A), parallel connected (10V @ 0.6A) or used individually, and the unit is designed for use with all windings engaged. Every unit is hi-pot tested at 2,000V RMS.
Construction is open style with minimum 6" long leads and a dual bobbin design, so no electrostatic shield is required. Class B insulation (130 °C) is used for extra protection, and the design is UL listed as a Class A (105 °C) design.
