The 265S24 is a 240 VA low voltage, high current chassis mount transformer from the 265 Series. It pairs a 117/234 VAC, 50/60 Hz dual primary with a dual secondary: series wired (C.T.) it delivers 24V @ 10A, and parallel wired it delivers 12V @ 20A. It is intended for equipment builders and electricians who need a heavy-current 24V center-tapped or 12V supply from either 117V or 234V mains.
Construction is open style with a 4 hole frame for chassis mounting, and connections are made by minimum 6" long leads or copper tabs with holes. A dual bobbin design means no electrostatic shield is required. Insulation is Class B (130 degrees C), and the series is Hi-Pot tested at 2,000V RMS.
