The 262E6 is an 18 VA plate & filament or bias transformer in the 261-262 Series, designed for small power or bias supplies, test equipment and preamps. It gives circuit designers a single chassis-mount part that provides both a high-voltage winding and a 6.3 volt heater winding.
Its secondary #1 is rated 120V @ 87 mA RMS, and the filament secondary #2 is rated 6.3V @ 1.2A RMS. According to the series specification sheet, this model uses a 115 VAC, 60 Hz primary. Wiring follows schematic Figure 2 on the series sheet.
Dimensions from the series ordering table are A 3.25 in (83 mm), B 2.00 in (51 mm), C 2.00 in (51 mm) and D 2.81 in (71 mm), with G at 0.19 in (5 mm). Shipping weight is 1.3 lbs (0.59 kg).
Like the rest of the series, the 262E6 installs with an economical two hole channel bracket and comes with minimum 5" long leads. It is RoHS and REACH compliant. If your heaters are wired for 12.6V instead, the 262E12 offers the same 120V @ 87 mA winding with 12.6V @ 0.6A.
