Hammond 196S1 Dual-Coil 72mH 1A / 18mH 2A Chassis Choke

The 196S1 is the smallest dual-coil choke in the 196 Series, rated 72 mH at 1 A DC series connected, or 18 mH at 2 A DC parallel connected. It fits low-current DC filtering where high inductance is needed in a small chassis-mounted part.

Each winding has a listed resistance of 0.553 ohms; no insulation class is given. The open core and coil design measures A 2.00 in (51 mm), B 2.00 in (51 mm), C 2.31 in (59 mm) and D 2.38 in (60 mm); no E dimension is listed. The mounting slot G dimension is 0.19 in (5 mm).
