Hammond 195G50 5 mH 50 A DC Single Coil Chassis Mount Choke

The 195G50 is a heavy current, chassis mount choke from the 195 Series, a single coil inductor rated 5 mH at 50 A DC. It is built for engineers and integrators designing high current power supply filters, where an open core and coil inductor bolted to a chassis or panel is the practical way to smooth DC output.

For 50 A DC at 5 mH, the 195G50 has 0.021 ohm resistance, Class B insulation, a 38 lb weight and 0.38 x 0.63 in (10 x 16 mm) mounting slots.

For AC applications from 60 Hz to 10,000 Hz, the manufacturer points to its 197 Series instead.
