Hammond 193K 2.6H 300mA Enclosed DC Filter Choke, 800VDC

The Hammond 193K is a D.C. filter choke from the 193 Series of enclosed and potted chassis mount chokes, rated 2.6 henries at 300 mA DC. It is designed for high voltage power supply filtering, and is a natural fit for tube amplifier builders, audio equipment restorers and OEM engineers designing linear DC supplies.

The 193K is a low-inductance, low-resistance choke: 2.6 henries at 300 mA with only 21 ohms of resistance, in the compact X8 enclosed case and rated to 800 VDC.

The 193K is an enclosed, 4-hole chassis mount choke using the X8 mounting style: Dimension A 2.50 in, B 3.25 in, C 3.06 in, D 2.00 in and E 2.19 in, with .203 x .38 in mounting slots. The unit is vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet, long-life operation, has minimum 8 in long leads, and its case matches power transformers and tube audio output transformers.

Electrically, the 193K has a resistance of 21 ohms and a maximum operating voltage of 800 VDC. Inductance is measured at rated D.C. current, with a tolerance of 15% on both inductance and resistance; the unit will exhibit less inductance at slightly higher currents and more at lower currents. Insulation class is 105C and the operating temperature range is -40C to 65C. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
