Hammond 193GP 10H 150mA Potted DC Filter Choke, 800VDC

The Hammond 193GP is a D.C. filter choke from the 193 Series of enclosed and potted chassis mount chokes, rated 10 henries at 150 mA DC. It is designed for high voltage power supply filtering, and is a natural fit for tube amplifier builders, audio equipment restorers and OEM engineers designing linear DC supplies.

The 193GP is the potted version of the 193G: 10 henries at 150 mA with 103 ohms resistance and an 800 VDC maximum operating voltage, housed in the P1 potted can rather than an open-ended enclosed case.

As a potted model, the 193GP is epoxy potted in a black powder paint drawn steel housing and mounts with 1/4"-20 hardware, which is included. It uses the P1 mounting style, with Dimension A 3.31 in, B 3.88 in and C 4.25 in. Like every 193 Series unit it is vacuum impregnated with polyurethane varnish for quiet, long-life operation and has minimum 8 in long leads.

Electrically, the 193GP has a resistance of 103 ohms and a maximum operating voltage of 800 VDC. Inductance is measured at rated D.C. current, with a tolerance of 15% on both inductance and resistance; the unit will exhibit less inductance at slightly higher currents and more at lower currents. Insulation class is 105C and the operating temperature range is -40C to 65C. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
