Hammond 18S42 39.5" Terminal Strap, Fits 42" High Enclosure

The 18S42 is a terminal strap for 1418 wallmount enclosures 42 inches high. It measures 39.50 inches long and provides 37.60 inches of usable mounting space for terminal blocks, pneumatic controls or small relays when mounted on 18TK brackets.

Made from 1.5 inch wide by 0.187 inch thick steel with a white finish, the strap includes spring locking hardware. Countersunk holes provide extra terminal mounting space along its length.

Length is 39.50 in (1003 mm); usable mounting space is 37.60 in (955 mm). The strap has a shipping weight of 4 lbs (1.81 kg) and ships in a bag.

Straps and brackets are ordered separately. Use one bracket assembly kit per enclosure and order the number of 18S42 kits equal to the straps required for a 42 inch dimension. RoHS and REACH compliant; UPC 623980362908.

Determine whether the strap will be mounted parallel to enclosure dimension "A" or "B", then choose the strap that corresponds to that dimension; the 18S42 is for a 42 inch side. The bracket assembly it attaches to is built as a "C" channel for easy alignment of terminal straps, and bracket plus collar stud length gives a minimum 3 inch clearance from the enclosure rear. Brackets can be installed horizontally or vertically if the size corresponds to enclosure length or width.
