The 18S20 is a terminal strap for 1418 wallmount enclosures that are 20 inches high. At 17.50 inches long, it provides 15.60 inches of usable mounting space for terminal blocks, pneumatic controls or small relays once fastened to an 18TK bracket assembly.
The strap is formed from 1.5 inch wide by 0.187 inch thick steel with a white finish. Countersunk holes give extra terminal mounting space, and spring locking hardware is included with each strap.
Dimensions are 17.50 in (445 mm) overall length and 15.60 in (396 mm) usable mounting space. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg), and the strap ships in a bag.
Brackets are a separate purchase. For each enclosure order one bracket assembly kit, then choose the strap kit that matches the enclosure's other dimension and order one kit per strap required. The 18S20 is RoHS and REACH compliant and carries UPC 623980362502.
Straps can run parallel to either enclosure dimension "A" or "B"; the 18S20 corresponds to a 20 inch dimension. Its supporting brackets use "C" channel construction for easy strap alignment and, combined with the collar stud length, hold the strap at least 3 inches from the rear of the enclosure, leaving room for conductors behind the terminals.
