Hammond 18P2721S16 27 x 21 In 316 Stainless Steel Inner Panel

The 18P2721S16 is a 27 x 21 in brushed 316 stainless steel inner panel for 30 x 24 in enclosures, part of Hammond's 18P Series of inner panels for 1418, 1447, PJW and PHW wallmount enclosures. It gives panel builders and OEM engineers specifying stainless steel builds a dedicated surface for mounting components inside the enclosure.

The S16 suffix marks the stainless steel build: the series specifications state that stainless steel panels are 12 gauge and brushed 316 SS. Larger panels in the series have two or four formed flanges, and the drawing for this part shows a 0.75 in formed depth. Its 27 x 21 in footprint is the same as the white steel 18P2721, so it drops into the same 30 x 24 in enclosure when the application calls for stainless steel instead of painted steel.
