The 18P1313PP is a 13 x 13 inch perforated inner panel sized for wallmount enclosures that measure 16 x 16 inches. It is the square entry size in the 18PP series and gives panel builders, OEM engineers and maintenance electricians a ready-drilled mounting surface for small control and wiring layouts in 1418, 1447, PJW and PHW enclosures.
Rather than laying out and drilling a solid backplate, you fasten components straight to the panel: the whole face is punched with 1/8 inch diameter holes on 1/4 inch staggered centers, and those holes accept self tapping screws. That removes the measuring, marking and drilling steps from each build and makes later rearrangement straightforward.
