The 18B224 is a two-bracket terminal bracket assembly for 1418 wallmount enclosures that are 24 inches wide. It forms the support for 18S terminal straps, giving a convenient mounting base for terminal blocks, pneumatic controls or small relays inside the enclosure.
Each bracket is 20.50 in (521 mm) long with a B dimension of 19.25 in (489 mm), for a parallel enclosure dimension of 24. Because enclosures of 24 inch width can take either a two or three bracket assembly when mounting parallel to dimension "B", the 18B224 is the two-bracket option; the 18B324 carries the same dimensions with three brackets.
The "C" channel brackets keep straps aligned, and together with the collar stud length they provide a 3 inch minimum clearance from the enclosure rear. They are steel, finished in white, and may be installed horizontally or vertically if the size corresponds to the enclosure length or width.
Order straps separately, one strap kit per strap, matched to the other enclosure dimension. The 18B224 ships in a bag at 1.63 lbs (0.74 kg), is RoHS and REACH compliant, and has UPC 623980359106.
