Hammond 186B10 6 VA 10V C.T. Dual-Primary Chassis Mount Transformer

The 186B10 is a 6 VA low voltage power transformer from the 186 Series, the dual primary (115/230 VAC) half of the 186-187 family. It provides a 10V C.T. secondary rated at 0.6 A and operates on 50/60 Hz, suiting OEM engineers, electricians and equipment builders who need a small chassis-mounted low voltage supply that can run from either 115 V or 230 V.

It uses an economical open style, channel frame chassis mount design with combination solder or quick connect terminals. Split bobbin construction eliminates the need for an electrostatic shield, insulation material is Class B (130 C), and the design keeps temperature rise from exceeding Class A for longer life. Each unit is hi-pot tested to 2 KV RMS.
