The 185G16 is a 175 VA low voltage chassis mount power transformer from the 185 Series, designed for global use with a dual 115/230 VAC primary and 50/60 Hz operation. Its dual secondaries deliver 16V C.T. at 11.0 A in series, or 8 V at 22.0 A in parallel, giving OEM engineers and equipment builders an 8 V or 16 V centre-tapped supply from one part.
Construction uses a dual bobbin design with Class F insulation rated 155 degrees C, and each unit is 4,000 V RMS Hipot tested. Dual use terminals accept either solder or quick connect termination.
