The 183G24 is a 10 VA low voltage P.C. board mounted power transformer providing 24 V C.T. at 0.42 A in series or 12 V at 0.84 A in parallel. Its universal dual primary operates on 115 V or 230 V at 50/60 Hz, and the non-concentrically wound dual secondaries can also be used separately for two low-voltage outputs.
The low profile split bobbin and top shroud design separates primary and secondary windings; because the dual secondaries are non-concentrically wound, coupling is low and no electrostatic shield is needed. Hipot is 4,000 V RMS and the insulation system is Class F at 155 °C.
