Hammond 183E12 2.5VA 12.6V CT Pcb Mount Power Transformer

The 183E12 is a 2.5 VA low-voltage power transformer for printed circuit board mounting, part of the 183 Series. Its dual secondary provides 12.6V C.T. @ 0.2A when the windings are wired in series, or 6.3V @ 0.4A when wired in parallel, and a bulk-pack version is offered as 183E12-BULK. It is aimed at OEM engineers and electronics designers who need a small, board-mounted low-voltage supply.

Universal operation comes from a dual primary rated 115 or 230 VAC at 50/60 Hz, so one board design can serve either line voltage. The dual winding secondaries are non-concentrically wound and can be wired in series, in parallel or used separately; when connected in series (pin 9 to pin 10) that connection acts as the center tap.
