The 182D117 is a small 15 VA toroidal transformer whose two secondaries match its primary voltage: connected in series they give 234 V center-tapped at 64 mA, and in parallel they give 117 V at 128 mA. The dual 117/234 VAC primary runs at 50/60 Hz. It fits technicians and designers who need a low-power line-level secondary in a compact package.
The manufacturer lists the 182D117 as REPLACE WITH 1182D117. The 182 Series will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last; the 1182 Series is its successor.
This is the smallest 182 body: 2.70 in (69 mm) outside diameter by 1.25 in (32 mm) high, with an open centre and no potting. Mounting is through the centre with an 8-32 bolt 1.50 in (38 mm) long, with a top steel mounting washer and top and bottom rubber washers. Two rubber insulating pads and a metal centering washer are included, as with all 182 units of 160 VA and under. Weight is 0.76 lbs per the table; shipping weight 0.8 lbs (0.36 kg).
Leads are flexible and at least 8 in long. Hi-Pot testing is 4,000 V RMS between primary and secondary, and the series carries CSA C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL506 recognition (file E207860) and CE certification to IEC950. RoHS and REACH compliant.
