The 1760K is a 50 watt push-pull output transformer for tube guitar amplifiers, listed for the Fender Bassman and Super with a Tweed chassis reference and similar to Fender part numbers 125A9A and 022855. It is a drop in replacement for technicians restoring or servicing tweed Bassman style amplifiers.
It is paper wound, with a 4,000 ohm center-tapped primary and 2, 4 and 8 ohm secondaries. Typical frequency response is 70Hz to 15KHz (0/-1dB referenced at 1KHz), with distortion below 1% at 70Hz. DC resistance is 89.43 ohms (primary brown-blue), 0.091 ohm (black-white), 0.183 ohm (black-yellow) and 0.219 ohm (black-green). At 1.0 kHz, 1.0 V the primary measures 5.38 H (33.8 K ohm) and the secondaries 8.53 mH (91.74 ohm) black-white, 17.59 mH (172.15 ohm) black-yellow and 33.62 mH (298.4 ohm) black-green. Primary leakage inductance is 3.136 mH.
Dielectric strength is 2000VRMS and the temperature range is -40 to 105 degC. The open style transformer has all leads at least 9.0 in out: blue, red (center tap) and brown on the primary; black (common), white (2 ohm), yellow (4 ohm) and green (8 ohm) on the secondary.
Drawing dimensions are A 4.063 in, B 3.238 in, C 3.485 in, D 3.500 in, E 2.000 in and F 2.560 in, with 0.177 x 0.300 in mounting slots. Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg). The 1760K is RoHS and REACH compliant.
